Banners Awarded in Iowa State Fair Sheep Show

DES MOINES, IA (09/02/2011)(readMedia)-- Stars and Stripes Livestock was awarded top honors at the Wether Sire/Dam Sheep Show judged Friday, August 19, at the 2011 Iowa State Fair. The Tipton farm's ewe was named Champion Ewe prior to the Grand Champion honor.

The Reserve Champion Ewe exhibited by Clayton Dyer of Clio captured the Reserve Grand Champion banner.

Champion Ram honors went to Scott and Shelly Schmitz of Rhodes while the Reserve Champion was exhibited by Mark Hindman of Albia.
