Banners Awarded in Open Class Hampshire Swine Show at Iowa State Fair
DES MOINES, IA (08/20/2010)(readMedia)-- The Engler Family of Nevada exhibited the Champion Gilt in the Hampshire Swine Show held Sunday, August 15 at the 2010 Iowa State Fair. Ron Warrick and Family of Gowrie won Reserve Champion Gilt honors.
The Champion Boar banner went to Iverson Farms of Grinnell while the Earl Cain Family of Chariton claimed the Reserve Champion Boar title.
The Warricks also claimed the Premier Sire banner. The Reserve Premier Sire honors went to Ray Williamson of Eagle Grove.
Warrick and Family also won Premier Exhibitor honors while Williamson earned Reserve honors. The award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual breeding classes of competition.
