Barnstable Resident Caroline Abbott Elected Officer for the Connecticut College Chapter of Psi Chi

NEW LONDON, CT (09/27/2010)(readMedia)-- Caroline Abbott, a junior at Connecticut College, was recently elected Treasurer for the Connecticut College chapter of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society of Psychology, for the 2010-2011 academic year. Psi Chi was founded in 1929 for the purpose of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology.

Abbott, a 2008 graduate of Barnstable High School, is the daughter of Jan Hemeon and George Abbott of Barnstable.
