Barrington native James Stack Named Men's Basketball's Most Improved Player
The sophomore basketball player at Lake Forest College earned the honor for the second straight year
LAKE FOREST, IL (03/29/2012)(readMedia)-- Sophomore guard James Stack (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) earned his second straight Men's Basketball's Most Improved Player Award at the Lake Forest College Winter Sports Awards Ceremony on Sunday, March 25 at the Firest Presbyterian Church in Lake Forest.
Stack moved into the starting lineup this season and finished third on the squad in scoring at 10.9 points per contest. His .500 (50-for-100) three-point field goal percentage was the highest in the conference.
The Forester men's basketball team (20-4) finished atop the Midwest Conference standings to claim its first league title since 2000.
