Barrington native Nora Logue Named Lake Forest College Athlete of the Week
The sophomore was 2-for-3 in two softball games.
LAKE FOREST, IL (04/18/2012)(readMedia)-- Softball player Nora Logue (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday for her performance in the team's doubleheader split at Elmhurst College the previous Friday.
Logue, a sophomore center fielder, was 2-for-3 with a run batted in during Lake Forest's 10-9 victory in the opener. She was also 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in game two, which the Foresters dropped 13-4.
The team's leading hitter with a .422 batting average, Logue now has a base hit in each of the last seven games. She is batting .600 (12-for-20) during the streak. Logua also leads the squad with 11 runs scored, 29 total bases, a .644 slugging percentage, and an on-base percentage of .469.
Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
