SAINT PAUL, MN (01/25/2012)(readMedia)-- Ben Fernlund is the son of David and Gretchen Fernlund from Rockford, MI, and will play Boy Cop 1 and Tiny Tom in the Bethel University performance of Urinetown this February and March. Fernlund is a sophmore majoring in business and psychology.

The Broadway musical Urinetown is a hysterical story of greed, rebellion, and love. In this musical satire, set during a time where water is a precious commodity, a 20-year drought leaves a city so desperate that their government begins to charge for public restroom use. One citizen chooses to defy the masses, planning a revolution to bring the people to freedom.

The musical runs February 23, 24, 25, 29, March 1, 2, 3 @ 7:30 p.m.; February 26 @ 2:30 p.m. in the Bethel Theatre, Bethel University Campus, 3900 Bethel Drive, St. Paul, Minn. Tickets are $10 adults; $6 students; $8 seniors/groups (10 or more). Call 651.638.6333 or 866.424.4849 (4BGHTIX) to purchase tickets.
