Benchemark Printing to Sponsor Mendelssohn Club's Centennial Season

DELMAR, NY (04/07/2009)(readMedia)-- The Mendelssohn Club of Albany today announced that Benchemark Printing will join Lavelle & Finn, LLP and Capital Region Orthopaedics as a sponsor for the club's 100th anniversary season and celebration. Founded in 1909, The Mendelssohn Club plans to officially recognize and celebrate its 100th anniversary on May 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.with a concert at Chancellor's Hall in the State Education Building.

About The Mendelssohn Club: A Capital Region tradition since 1909, the 70-voice male chorus is the area's longest continuously performing arts group. The Club is composed of men from the Capital District, Hudson Valley and Berkshire regions, and performs a full range of male choral selections from around the world. A faculty member at Union College, Dr. Klimash holds a Doctor of Music in Voice from Florida State University, and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Voice from The Eastman School of Music.
