DES MOINES, IA (08/10/2018) (readMedia)-- Contestants from coast to coast flocked to Pioneer Hall to participate in bird calling contests judged Thursday at the 2018 Iowa State Fair.

The contest was part of "Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions" in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. A first prize of $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
