Bloomfield Bunny Wins Fair Biggest Rabbit Title

DES MOINES, IA (08/21/2017) (readMedia)-- "Whitey," the rabbit owned by Kenneth Smalley of Bloomfield won first place in the Largest Rabbit competition, judged Friday at the 2017 Iowa State Fair.

"Whitey" tipped the scales at 17.4 pounds.

"Thanksgiving," the entry owned by Dave Bellmann of Dubuque, earned second place at 17.2 pounds.

Bambi Thomas of Carlisle claimed third place with "Casey" who tipped the scales at 11.8 pounds.
