Bloomington's Scott Laskowski named NACC Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week

AURORA, IL (12/03/2013)(readMedia)-- Aurora University senior forward Scott Laskowski (Bloomington, Ind./Carmel H.S.) was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 1, 2013.

Laskowski led the Spartans to the program's 1,000th victory with 25 points and nine rebounds in the 2013-2014 NACC opener on Saturday when AU defeated Concordia Wisconsin 88-80. He was 12-of-15 from the field in the game.

On the season, Laskowski is averaging a team-high 16.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game for the Spartans, 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the NACC.

Next action for Laskowski and the men's basketball team comes tonight, Tuesday, December 3, when they host Benedictine University. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Thornton Gymnasium.
