ALBANY, NY (08/25/2022) (readMedia)-- August 30, 2022- On Tuesday, 11:00am at the Veterans Miracle Center located at 10 Interstate ave in Albany, Bookwell Travel, the Veterans Miracle Center and their partners will announce what will be the first of many, Freedom Villages. Freedom Villages will be tiny homes for Veterans to help stop Veteran homelessness in our country. Freedom Villages will house greenhouses to grow fruits and vegatables, as well as solar farms where cattle will be raised for beef, which will all be sold a local markets. The concept is to not only provide housing for Veterans but employment and personal health betterment as well. "I am very excited about this project and what it will do to help those Veterans who are homeless for whatever reason, we have seen first hand in the 19,000 plus Veterans we have helped at the VMC, what these Veterans go through and we want to do what we can to serve them as they have served our country." The VMC will also be giving out 2,000 backpacks to military familes in need, filled with personal healthcare items.
