Bordentown resident Gabrielle Arenge elected Student Government Assoc. Chair of Academic Affairs at CT College

NEW LONDON, CT (04/16/2013)(readMedia)-- Gabrielle Arenge, a junior at Connecticut College, has been elected Student Government Association (SGA) chair of academic affairs for the 2013-2014 academic year.

As chair of academic affairs, Arenge will coordinate academic department advisory boards and represent student views on curriculum, staff appointments, tenure and other related issues to academics at Connecticut College.

Arenge, a 2010 graduate of Northern Burlington County Regional High School in Columbus, is the son of Judy Arenge of Bordentown.

The SGA considers issues and formulates policies in areas primarily or exclusively involving the student body at Connecticut College and seeks to extend channels of communication, increase areas of cooperation and foster a greater acceptance of shared responsibility between faculty, administration and students.
