MILTON , MA (10/31/2012)(readMedia)-- Curry College is pleased to announce that Boston, MA resident, Jeffrey Nunn, Jr., son of Jeffrey Nunn Sr. and Tracey Hicks, will be playing the role of John in Michael Manor's To Catch a Rose as part of the Sixth Annual New Plays Festival. Nunn, Jr. is a 2009 graduate of Josiah Quincy Upper School. Currently a junior majoring in Communication, he makes his onstage College debut with this show. However, with a knack for comedy, Nunn, Jr. is in his second year on the college Improv Team, Absolut(c) Improv. He is currently serving on the Curry Theatre supervisory board as Assistant Props Manager.

The Sixth Annual New Plays Festival, showcasing original student 5-10 minute one act plays, will run Saturday, Nov. 10th through Monday, Nov. 12th at 7:30 p.m. at Curry College, in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved at 617-333-2259 (Option 2).

Founded in 1879, Curry College is a private, four-year, liberal arts institution located on 135 acres in Milton, MA. Curry extends its educational programs to a continuing education branch campus in Plymouth, MA. Curry offers 20 undergraduate degrees as well as graduate degrees in business, education, criminal justice and nursing, with a combined enrollment of approximately 4,150 students. The student body consists of approximately 2,000 traditional undergraduate students, 1,650 continuing education and 500 graduate students. More than 1,400 of its students reside on the Curry campus. The largest majors are business management, communication, nursing, criminal justice and education.
