Brian Allmendinger Named NE-10 Rookie of the Week

PLEASANTVILLE, NY (04/04/2012)(readMedia)-- Freshman golfer Brian Allmendinger (East Islip, NY/East Islip) was named Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week after a solid performance at Dowling College's Peter King Memorial Tournament.

Allmendinger posted another solid outing this spring as this past weekend as he finished tied for 16th place with a two-round total of 154 (79-75) at the Peter King Memorial Tournament. For the year, Allmendinger is shooting an average round of 78.5.

The Setters return to action for Le Moyne College's Empire State Challenge to be held at Timber Banks Golf Club on Tuesday, April 10.
