Bronx resident D'larys Rivera elected president of the class of 2012 at Connecticut College
NEW LONDON, CT (05/13/2010)(readMedia)-- D'larys Rivera, a sophomore at Connecticut College, has been elected president of the junior class for the 2010-2011 academic year.
As president, Rivera is responsible for coordinating social functions for the class and providing class representation on committees and at campus events.
Rivera, a 2008 graduate of Bronx Lab School, is the son of Delaris Ramos and Brenda Medina of Bronx.
The Connecticut College Student Government Association considers issues and formulates policies in areas primarily or exclusively involving the student body at Connecticut College and seeks to extend channels of communication, increase areas of cooperation and foster a greater acceptance of shared responsibility between faculty, administration and students.
