Brooke Bailey Selected as Schreiner University Welch Scholar

KERRVILLE, TX (04/04/2013)(readMedia)-- Brooke Bailey of Kerrville, Texas has been selected as a 2013-2014 Schreiner University Welch Scholar. Her appointment will start at the beginning of the summer 2013 term and last throughout the year. Bailey will be traveling to Colorado State University, Fort Collins to work with Mark Brown, Ph. D. on cancer cell manipulation. She will be the first student to travel externally through this program.

The Welch Foundation supports fundamental chemical research at universities, colleges, or other educational institutions within the state of Texas.
