Bruce Landry Performed In Ithaca College Theatre Production
ITHACA, NY (05/10/2012)(readMedia)-- Metairie resident Bruce Landry performed the role of Claudio in the Ithaca College theatrical production of "Measure for Measure."
Landry is a senior musical theatre major. His previous Ithaca College mainstage credits include Fabrizio in "The Light in the Piazza," Homer Collins in "Floyd Collins," and Japheth in "Children of Eden." Additional credits include Link Larkin in "Hairspray" and Frederic in "Pirates of Penzance" at the New London Barn Playhouse in New London, New Hampshire.
"Thank you to my wonderful parents, teachers, and friend for supporting me over these last four years at Ithaca. It is with great honor that I share my final IC production with this cast and creative team," Landry said.
Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure," written in 1604, deals with the political structure and religious instability of Elizabethan England. This production of "Measure for Measure" focused on the divide between monarchy and commoner in a unique world.
