Brynita Haas Honored by Hartwick College
Brynita Haas '26 of Red Creek, N.Y., was presented with two awards during the College's Honors Convocation held on April 30.
Haas was named a Faculty Scholar in Biology. All scholars have excellent academic records and have demonstrated an outstanding mastery of their respective disciplines. Rising seniors are nominated by faculty in their major departments based on academic achievement, leadership and character.
Additionally, Haas was presented the Deborah M. Allen Brennan Memorial Scholarship. Established by Professor Emeritus Daniel Allen H'94 and Constance Hartley Allen '72 in memory of their daughter, the award is given to an outstanding biology student who is a junior at the time of Honors Convocation and demonstrates a strong interest in research.
