Bucknell Student Earns Prestigious Award

Allure Cooper '23 is the recipient of the Class of 2023 Award of Excellence. Allure is a lover of life. She is not afraid to be passionate about her projects and to share that passion with others. You can see it in the genuine smile she has on her face everywhere she goes and in everything she does. This award is given to a member of each class who displays exceptional leadership through their involvement and influence on campus.

Allure was selected for the prestigious Bauer Scholar Award, has been a member of the TEAM mentoring program (and is currently in training to become a mentor as well). Allure is a research assistant under the Theater Department's Dalal grant, a member of the Black Student Union, and an inductee in the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.

Her nomination says that "Allure's passion to make Bucknell a better place, a diverse and inclusive community, and one in which she is able to lead others is demonstrated through her extensive reach of involvement on campus. She has a strong ability to balance campus involvement, community involvement and academic achievement. "
