Bucks County Residents Danielle L. Chicano and Megan E. Tadley Honored for Academic Achievement

SCRANTON, PA (06/21/2010)(readMedia)-- Danielle L. Chicano, Philadelphia, and Megan E. Tadley, Southampton, were among the 57 students who received awards from The University of Scranton during its undergraduate Class Night ceremony. The Jesuit university recognized exceptional students from the Class of 2010 with awards for academic achievement and service.

Chicano was the recipient of the J. Harold Brislin Memorial Award for Excellence in Journalism. She received a bachelor of science in communication with a track in journalism and a concentration in nutrition. She was a member of the Lambda Pi Eta honor society.

Chicano plans to pursue a career in journalism and a master's degree in nutrition.

She graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School, Radnor, Pa.

Tadley was the recipient of the Excellence in Human Resource Studies Award. She received a bachelor of science, cum laude, in human resource studies and minors in business and psychology.

She was a member of Omega Beta Sigma honor society, the Society of Human Resource Management and was named to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Tadley has accepted a position with ARAMARK's Human Resources Representative Program which is aimed at developing future human resource talent for ARAMARK.

She graduated from Saint Basil Academy in Jenkintown, Pa.
