C-N student Meagan Sullivan performs her junior recital

JEFFERSON CITY, TN (02/18/2013)(readMedia)-- Carson-Newman junior Meagan Sullivan recently performed her junior recital February 15 in C-N's Thomas Recital Hall.
The soprano vocalist performed selections from Bach, G.F. Handel, Claude Debussy, Mozart and others. She was accompanied by Joseph North, staff accompanist.
Sopranos Erika Lovingood and Jessica Eckenrod, both C-N students, performed selections accompanied by Sharon McGinley.
A brief reception followed the recital.
Sullivan is the daughter of Mark and Teresa Sullivan of Smithville, Tennessee.
Her junior recital was presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Bachelor of Music degree in music performance, vocal emphasis. Sullivan is the student of Dr. Angela Holder.
Carson-Newman University is a private, coeducation, Christian liberal arts university. Founded in 1851, Carson-Newman is located in Jefferson City, Tennessee, among the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. The University has approximately 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
