CCU student-athletes read to area kindergartners

On Tuesday, Feb. 19, more than 100 Coastal Carolina University student athletes spent the morning reading stories to 16 Horry County elementary schools as part of the United Way of Horry County Caring for Kindergartners program.

Upon completing the book "How Full Is Your Bucket?", the young students were able to put the lessons they learned on display by drawing pictures and creating their own greeting cards to be distributed to elderly, homebound citizens throughout Horry County.
