EAST GREENBUSH, NY (06/06/2007)(readMedia)-- Funding awarded to Community Health Care Services Foundation Inc., (CHC), from the Cardinal Health Foundation permits CHC to translate nine Forums for paraprofessionals into Spanish and Russian.
The grant allows CHC to provide essential training available via audio conferencing - free of charge - to paraprofessionals nation-wide on topics including, “Dealing with Patients with Difficult Behaviors,” “Safety for You and Your Patient,” and “Basic Life Skills: Training for Paraprofessionals” among others.
“We now have the ability to expand our reach with our educational Forums” said Phyllis Wang, president of CHC. “The Forums will be available free of charge to the Spanish and Russian speaking population within the home care industry across the U.S., which will enhance the services offered to home care patients in those communities.”
For more information on this grant or any of our audio conferences, webinars and streaming video, please visit our web site at www.chcforum.org.
