CLHS DECA Students Shine at State and Advance to International Competition

Congratulations to our Concordia Lutheran High School DECA students on a great showing at the Indiana State DECA Competition in Indianapolis!

Twenty-three CLHS students competed alongside more than 2,600 students from across the state. Anna Clem and Abby Hawk placed 2nd in the state in the Buying and Merchandising Team Event. Sam David placed 6th in Hotel and Lodging Management, and Hannah Clark and Lilly Schlicker placed 5th in the Hospitality Tourism Team Event. Sam David, Natalie Smith, and Lilly Schlicker were also recognized for scoring 85% or higher on their written exams.

Anna, Abby, Hannah, Lilly, and Sam will represent CLHS and Indiana at the DECA International Competition in Atlanta this April. Congratulations to all our students who advanced to state and represented Concordia so well!
