CSEA Tyree Learning Center Workers to Hold Fair Contract Rally

COMMACK, NY (06/09/2025) (readMedia)-- CSEA's newly organized Tyree Learning Center Local will be holding a fair contract rally in front of the SCO Family of Services fundraiser for the Robert J. McMahon Children's Center.

Among the many attendees of the fundraiser will be the administration for the SCO Family of Services Tyree Learning Center, who have employed union busting tactics to prevent CSEA members from negotiating a fair contract. These actions continue the SCO administration's long history of anti union tactics, which the administration also employed when CSEA organized other workers on the Robert J. McMahon Children's Center - SCO Family of Services campus in Sea Cliff six years ago.

How can administration claim to care about developmentally disabled children when they don't care for the people that provide critical services for the children?
