BATAVIA, NY (10/07/2014)(readMedia)-- Don't worry about the weather this Halloween! No need to put a coat over that costume! Bring your superheroes, princesses, and other dressed up characters to Genesee Community College for Halloween Family Fun at 90.7FM's third annual Play, Eat and Trick-or-Treat event on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the GCC Forum. Admission is $3 per trick-or-treater. Adults and infants get in FREE.

New this year, youngsters will have a chance to visit and have their photo taken with frozen Snow Queen Elsa who will be on hand from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Three bounce houses will be available along with giant games, free popcorn and trick-or-treating at a dozen different tables. Pizza and beverages will be available for purchase at the event, and face painting will also be available for an additional charge. A number of baskets will be raffled off. For the sports buff, autographed items from the Buffalo Bills and the Rochester Red Wings will be up for grabs. A lucky winner will enjoy a night at Buffalo's renowned The Mansion on Delaware, or a bracelet from Alex & Ani. And there's much more, from Instant Lottery tickets, to Beats headphones and items from local favorites including Center Street Smokehouse, Red Osier and Mane Attraction Salon.

Developed by college radio station 90.7FM (WGCC), Play, Eat and Trick or Treat attracted more than 400 people last year and continues to grow. "This is our largest fundraiser," said 90.7FM faculty advisor Valerie Bello. "The money we raise through Play, Eat and Trick-or-Treat helps send our students to the Intercollegiate Broadcasting Conference in New York City. It also supports the cost of new equipment and new programming opportunities for our students," she said. "So it's a really fun event and supports a great cause!"

90.7FM is a not for profit non-commercial radio station run by the students, faculty and staff of Genesee Community College. It's been on the air since 1985 and has become a well-loved part of the Batavia community.

Ken Barrett Chevrolet Cadillac is once again the title sponsor of this year's Play, Eat and Trick-or-Treat event. Other sponsors include T-Shirts Etc., Burchfield-Penney Art Center and Al-E-Oops Restaurant.
