Cameron Van Kooten on Central College homecoming court

PELLA, (10/02/2012)(readMedia)-- Cameron Van Kooten , a native of Pella and senior at Central College, was a member of Central's homecoming court. Van Kooten is majoring in general studies with focuses in business, art and writing.
He is a choir officer for the A Cappella Choir, president of Central College One Iowa and involved in Central College Democrats and theatre.
Each year, Central seniors are invited to nominate three men and three women from the senior class to represent Central on the homecoming court. The top five women and men are selected.
This year, the queen candidates were Cara Soukup, Alyssa Schwartz, Emily Huegel, Morgan Remick and Liz Clancy. The remaining king candidates included Tyler Mason, Gary Sorich, Ben Fry and Jack Flaherty.
Emily Huegel and Jack Flaherty were chosen by the enitre student body as queen and king.
Central College is a private, four-year, residential, liberal arts college in Pella, Iowa.
