Campbellsville University to host 7th Annual Percussion Festival

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (03/28/2018) (readMedia)-- CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Campbellsville University will host the 7th Annual Percussion Festival on Friday, April 6 in the Gosser Fine Arts Center, 210 University Drive, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a mini-concert at 3 p.m. as the culminating feature.

The admission fee is $5. The $5 includes access to all activities and an entry into drawings for several door prizes.

The event is open to everyone, including those not performing in an ensemble. Clinics and master classes will be presented by Bill Shaltis of the University of Memphis and Jeremy Maytum of Lexington. Ensemble performances will be also be given by the Campbellsville University Percussion Ensemble and Steel Band.

Registration deadline for the Campbellsville University Brass Festival is April 1.

The Campbellsville University Percussion Ensemble Festival is supported by the Kentucky Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society.
