Campbellsville University to host SBTS dean at chapel

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (08/26/2014)(readMedia)-- Dr. Adam W. Greenway, dean of the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism and Ministry at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, will speak at Campbellsville University's weekly chapel Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 10 a.m.

Chapel is held in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., located on the main campus of Campbellsville University. Everyone is invited.

Greenway is the dean and the associate professor of evangelism and applied apologetics of the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism and Ministry at SBTS. For five years, Greenway served as the senior minister of The Baptist Church at Andover in Lexington, Ky.

He serves as chairman of the board of trustees of LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention. Greenway is also the immediate past president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention.

Greenway is the co-editor of "Evangelicals Engaging Emergent" and "The Great Commission Resurgence." He has contributed articles to various publications.

He received his bachelor of arts degree from Samford University; a master of divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Ph.D. from SBTS.

He is married to Carla Greenway; they have one son, Adam Wade II.
