Canton-Potsdam Hospital President to Present at SUNY Canton

CANTON, NY (01/22/2016)(readMedia)-- The President and CEO of Canton-Potsdam Hospital and the St. Lawrence Health System will be presenting at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, in SUNY Canton's Woodcock Conference Suites room 212. The event is free and open to the public.

David B. Acker, J.D., is the latest area business leader to join the college's ongoing Excellence in Leadership Lecture Series. He will be sharing his career path beyond college and imparting his strategies for success in the healthcare industry.

Acker is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a former chairman of the American Hospital Association Governing Council for Small and Rural Hospitals. He was also the chairman of the Education Committee of the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council and has numerous other outstanding professional credentials and a demonstrated commitment to civic endeavors.

Canton-Potsdam Hospital is a leading healthcare provider and a part of the St. Lawrence Health System (SLHS).
