Cantonsville Resident Joe Quinn Leads Scranton Clean-up

SCRANTON, PA (01/11/2010)(readMedia)-- Student Government Officers at The University of Scranton, who organized a semi-annual Street Sweep, are from left, Joe Quinn, Catonsville, Md., president; Lauren Majeski, secretary; Patricia Cermignano, director of communications; William Pugh, treasurer; and William Grogan, vice president. More than 200 students participated in this project that cleaned-up the streets in the city's hill section near the Jesuit school's campus on a warm autumn afternoon. Each year more than 2,850 University of Scranton students perform well over 170,000 service hours.
