Carson-Newman Announces Eagle Scholars

Carson-Newman announced the first ever group of Eagle Scholars. The University is the first among South Atlantic Conference (SAC) schools to establish a program that recognizes both academic and athletic achievement. The Eagle Scholars initiative recognizes academic achievement among Carson-Newman's student-athletes. All students with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher will begin their season with the "torch of knowledge" patch attached to their uniforms.
