Carthage College's Slivinski named CCIW Men's Volleyball Player of the Week

Carthage's Matt Slivinski was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Volleyball Players of the Week.

Slivinski, a junior outside hitter from Willow Springs, Illinois and Lyons Township High School, averaged 5.46 kills for the 2-1 Red Men. He had 24 kills, five digs and hit .340 in a five-set loss to the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). He then had 19 kills, four digs and hit .378 in a sweep at California Lutheran, followed by 28 kills and five digs in a five-set win against UC-Santa Cruz.
