Carthage students present chemistry research

Two Carthage students, Katherine Sheldon and Jared Loos, presented their research at the National American Chemical Society Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia in March.

They presented a poster -- "Optimization and Exploration of the Synthesis of 2-Pyridyl Substituted Carbazoles" --covering their research completed with Alec Brown, associate professor of chemistry, during their 2025 Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE).
