Casting Hall at Buffalo State Presented "The Color Purple"

The Theater Department at Buffalo State, in conjunction with the student-run production company Casting Hall Productions, staged "The Color Purple." The novel by Alice Walker won the 1983 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Casting Hall Productions is the first theater company in the region to take on a revival of the show that was originally made into a Tony Award-winning musical in 2006.
