Catapult Camp at SUNY Canton August 10-14

CANTON, NY (08/03/2015)(readMedia)-- Edge on Science will be presenting a catapult camp for ages 10 to 14 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily from August 10 to 14 at SUNY Canton.

John Aviste, Edge on Science's camp director, has previously offered bridge building and rocket camps on campus. He said children will work under close adult supervision to build and test a trebuchet.

The day camp promotes problem-solving, teambuilding and leadership skills through the engineering challenge. Children will learn fundamental physics, mechanics and assembly techniques.
