Community Performance Series’ production of ‘Cats’ runs from July 7-12 at 7:30 p.m., with matinee performances on July 9 and 12 at 2 p.m.

POTSDAM, NY (06/23/2014)(readMedia)-- Community Performance Series Productions will present 'Cats' in SUNY Potsdam's new Performing Arts Center from Monday, July 7 to Saturday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m., with 2 p.m. matinee performances on Wednesday, July 9 and Saturday, July 12.

"Rehearsals have begun with full force - 8 hour days of continuous, intense dancing and singing. The rehearsal room is filled with sweat, aching muscles and a sense of rising above to create a show that is on the same level with any nationally known professional theatre. Designers, choreographer, director, musical director, performers and Potsdam community talent join together to present this exciting and captivating production of 'Cats'," exclaims Director Donna Drake.

Performance tickets can be purchased online at www.cpspotsdam.org, by phone at (315) 267-2277, or at Northern Music & Video in downtown Potsdam. Regular ticket prices range from $15-$30 with discounts for seniors (62+) and student/youth (0-18). Premium box seats are available for $40 or $50 and can be reserved by calling the CPS Box Office directly.
