Celebration of Daffodil Days Fundraiser for American Cancer Society

BATAVIA, NY (03/06/2010)(readMedia)-- In celebration of the successful American Cancer Society Daffodil Days fundraiser at Genesee Community College, organizers at the College are inviting all community members to continue their generous support by purchasing a heart-shaped helium balloon for $1.00 as a tribute to cancer survivors, as well as in memory of loved ones lost to the terrible disease. The collection of balloons will be displayed in the Conable Technology Building North Lobby (just off the Clock Tower Plaza) on Tuesday, March 9 at 1:00 PM. A group photograph with all involved participants and balloons will be taken.

To purchase advance tickets for heart-shaped helium balloon, contact Berneda Scoins or Valerie Hale to be sure they are ready for pick up for the March 9th event. Balloons can be purchased until Tuesday at 12:30 PM. Contact:
