Cheyenne Youngblood of Temecula, Calif., named Missouri Baptist University Athlete of the Week

ST. LOUIS, MO (10/25/2012)(readMedia)-- Missouri Baptist University recognizes wrestler Cheyenne Youngblood as the Spartan Athlete of the Week after she went 6-0 at the Oklahoma City University Duals over the weekend. At the competition, the women's wrestling team battled their way to a third place finish in the Silver bracket.
Youngblood is a freshman from Temecula, Calif., who is taking classes for the pre-nursing program at MBU.
MBU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and has received the distinction of being an NAIA Champions of Character institution for the past 10 years. The Spartans compete in the American Midwest Conference.
