The Amazing Race was the collaboration of three Church of the Nazarene international mission organizations. It was an event planned for young people as a way to teach them about mission work. Professor Kathy Mowry, a member of the faculty of Trevecca's Millard Reed School of Theology and Christian Ministry, and five students from Trevecca organized and executed the event for the 76 students and leaders while promoting Trevecca's mission program.

She works as a night resident assistant in a Trevecca women's residence hall, is an accompanist at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, and works at Trevecca Towers and in Trevecca's Office of External Relations. She plans to make intercity ministry her career. Corzine said about the event, "After the debrief from the Race, it was wonderful to see individuals understand, in a sense, have their eyes opened to what it means to not only minister in a cross-cultural setting but to understand what ministry consists of-that is, building relationships with people."

Corzine is a native of Plant City, FL, and is the daughter of Don and Renee Corzine.
