ALBANY, NY (12/16/2021) (readMedia)-- This will be the 10th year of the gift for guns program with over 600 illegal handguns turned in through this program.

This year the card value will go up for certain illegal handguns turned in.

Albany County District Attorney & Victory Christian Church will be holding a day long event collecting illegal handguns. They will also pick up any handguns by appointment.

When: Saturday December 18th 9 AM to 4 P.M.

With all the shootings in Albany this year the program is looking to get as many illegal Guns off the streets at this event.
