Chyna Gade of Apache Junction hired by NAU Fitness Department as Step Instructor
FLAGSTAFF, AZ (01/18/2013)(readMedia)-- Chyna Gade of Apache Junction, AZ was hired by the Fitness Department at Northern Arizona University as a Group Exercise Step Instructor. Gade, a junior at NAU will lead students and staff in group step weekly at the campus recreation center.
Group exercise classes are provided by NAU's Campus Recreation Services as part of the Fitness programs. The group fitness programs allow students to stay happy, healthy, and in shape within a fun environment. NAU's group exercise classes are rewarding, fun, and challenging. The Step Class offered at NAU takes traditional step moves and transforms them into creative step combinations by simply adding the elements of rhythm, direction, and style.
Campus Recreation Services is a hub for student activity at Northern Arizona University and is located within the Health and Learning Center. The center includes a fully equipped weight room, cardio theater, basketball courts, aerobic and dance studios, an indoor climbing wall, racquetball courts, a MAC court, and more. Campus Recreation Services also includes the Wall Aquatic Center, which offers an olympic-size pool complete with eight 50-meter lanes, diving boards, and underwater filming and viewing windows; Club Sports; Intramural Sports; and the NAU Outdoors, which provides trips and classes around the Southwest.
