Claire Tiffany of California Awarded Chester A. and Mary R. Personette Endowed Scholarship

ST. MARY'S CITY, MD (01/09/2014)(readMedia)--  Claire Tiffany, a California, Md., native and senior at St. Mary's College of Maryland, was recently awarded the Chester A. and Mary R. Personette Endowed Scholarship. Established in 2007, the scholarship benefits students pursuing mathematics and sciences.

At St. Mary's College of Maryland, Tiffany is studying biology. She hopes to pursue a career in veterinary science.

Outside of the classroom, Tiffany is involved in the Omicron Delta Kappa honors society, the TriBeta biology honors society and is a resident assistant.

St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
