Clifton Resident Luianne DiGuiglielmo Named Outstanding Preceptor by American Dietetic Association

MORRISTOWN, NJ (12/13/2010)(readMedia)-- Luanne DiGuglielmo, M.S., R.D., a part-time faculty member at the College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE), 2 Convent Road, Morristown, has been named a 2010 American Dietetic Association (ADA) Outstanding Preceptor by the ADA Dietetic Practice Group, Dietetic Educators of Practioners. A preceptor provides training and observation for students in certain professional fields. DiGuglielmo, who is also one of the CSE dietetic internship clinical coordinators, was one of seven chosen to receive this honor out of approximately 200 nominations.
DiGuglielmo, a resident of Clifton, N.J., began her association with CSE in 1991 as a dietetic intern preceptor. She became a CSE adjunct professor in the adult undergraduate degree program in 1998, and dietetic internship clinical coordinator in 2005. She received her Master of Science in applied human nutrition from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J., and her Bachelor of Science in home economics (foods and nutrition) from Montclair State College, Upper Montclair, N.J.
