Coker College Student Elizabeth Ashley West to Study and Perform in Italy
HARTSVILLE, S.C. (06/12/2012)(readMedia)-- Coker College student Elizabeth Ashley West, of North Charleston, S.C., will study at Operafestival di Roma in Italy July 5-29. West has been invited to sing the role of Suor Osmina in the production of Suor Angelica, which will be sung in Italian. She will also be singing in the chorus and will cover the role of First Spirit in the production of Die Zauberflöte which will be sung in German with Italian dialogues and will be presented in the historic 15th century courtyard of S. Ivo alla Sapienza in central Rome.
West is a senior musical theater major at Coker.
