Coker College Student Thad Sulek Spends Semester Studying in Prague

HARTSVILLE, S.C. (06/12/2012)(readMedia)-- Coker College student Thad Sulek, of Hilton Head Island, S.C., recently returned from a semester-long study abroad experience in Prague. Sulek studied at Charles University through the American Institute for Foreign Study and took courses in art, Czech language and film studies.  He also traveled to London, Munich and Krakow as part of the program. 

Sulek was awarded the Susan Coker Watson Scholarship for Study Abroad. The Susan Coker Watson Fellowship Foundation at Coker College provides funding to rising juniors and seniors who wish to study abroad in Europe. Recipients are selected by a committee made up of the College provost, the director of the center for engaged learning and members of Coker College's faculty.

Sulek is a senior mathematics major at Coker.
