Coker College Women's Volleyball Team Honors Seniors

HARTSVILLE, S.C. (11/13/2012)(readMedia)-- Coker College women's volleyball player April Griggs, of Bishopville, S.C., was recently honored during Senior Night before the Cobras' home finale against Emmanuel College.

Griggs was a four-year member of the Cobras and put a stamp on the volleyball record book. She finished her career with 595 kills, good for seventh all-time, and is No. 8 all-time in block assists with 133.

The Coker women's volleyball team made the Conference Carolinas tournament for the first time in five years in 2012. The Cobras fell to North Greenville in the quarterfinals.
