College $3 Million Solar Energy Project Recognized
CORTLAND, NY (05/07/2014)(readMedia)-- SUNY Cortland symbolically will flip the switch on 3,600 new solar panels on Friday, May 9, formally ushering in a new era of energy sustainability on campus.
State Sen. James Seward (R-Oneida) will join President Erik J. Bitterbaum and other College officials in a ceremony recognizing the completion of a $3 million campus solar energy project.
The speakers will discuss the pioneering nature of the project, its role in scientific education and SUNY Cortland's continuing leadership in energy sustainability.

WHERE: The SUNY Cortland Physical Plant, in front of the solar array near Route 281 on the west side of campus.
