Colton McNinch, Utica, Named KCAC Male Runner of the Week

WINFIELD, KS (09/29/2011)(readMedia)-- - Southwestern College sophomore cross country runner Colton McNinch, Utica, has been selected Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Colton McNinch is the son of Dennis and Kim McNinch, Utica. McNinch is a graduate of Ness City High School.

McNinch finished third overall out of 69 runners at the Oklahoma City University Fall Classic. He led Southwestern to a second place team finish in the 14-team field.

McNinch's 8,000 meter time was 6 seconds off of his career best, 25:45.

The Southwestern College cross country team will be in action again this Saturday at the Oklahoma State University Cowboy Jamboree. For more information and up-to-date results, go to www.buildersports.com.
