Comedian Omid Singh performs standup routine in Leedy Theater on Jan. 28 at 9 p.m.
ANNVILLE, PA (01/12/2011)(readMedia)-- Named "funniest College Comic in California" in Jimmy Kimmel's college comedy contest, Omid Singh will bring his talent to Lebanon Valley College's Leedy Theater on Jan. 28 at 9 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.
Singh's comedy reflects on his interesting childhood, while shedding light on what he believes is true, and hilarious, about society. His multicultural upbringing and natural humor will make for a night of as much witty and surprising comedy that time will allow.
Born in San Diego, but raised in the wealthy city of Dubai, Singh is a natural entertainer. Whether hosting a talent show, singing as a child while wearing his father's turban, or performing as a young stand up comedian and opening for veteran comic Jim Gaffigan, he has always enjoyed the spotlight. At 18, he was invited to perform at the world famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles-he was the youngest comedian ever to perform on the main room stage. Singh currently lives in New York City where he regularly performs at Stand Up NY and The Broadway Comedy Club.
